In pursuance of its statutory obligations and functions, the Council has approved a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program to improve, renew, and update the skills and ability of all doctors and to ensure that appropriate, high-quality health services are being provided to patients.

With this audience the Partners In Health / Inshuti Mu Buzima has the pleasure to invite you to the “Ultrasound-guided core needle biopsy of the breast” workshop organized from February 7th, 2013 to February 15th , 2013 at BUTARO District Hospital and RWINKWAVU District Hospital.

The objectives of this training are the following :

1) To develop competence in core needle biopsy (CNB) of the breast, an efficient, effective and safe method of breast cancer diagnosis ;

2) To develop competence in using ultrasound to guide CNB ;

3) To grow familiar with imaging characteristics of common benign and malignant breast conditions.

The workshop is an accredited CPD activity ; full attendance to the workshop will allow you to earn CPD credits.
