The Ministry of Health in Collaboration with University of Rwanda, University of Maryland and NIH/NIDDK (National Institutes of Health/ National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive Kidney Diseases USA) is seeking a candidate for a Rwandan non-FTE physician-fellow to work with the Section on Ethnicity and Health at NHI.

The goal of this project is to build research capacity in Rwanda by training a Rwandan public health specialist/ epidemiologist in clinical research at the clinical level for better service delivery. Through this project expertise on prevalence data on preventable diseases, specifically pre-diabetes will be transferred.
