How do I get the Certificate of Good Standing (CGS)

The RMDC issues a CGS for those who intend to work or study overseas. The CGS shows that no malpractice allegations or investigation into a practitioner professional practice are at present in progress or anticipated. A CGS will not be issued if there is a current or intended investigation in relation to your professional practice or if there are current sanctions on your registration.

Normally, the CGS is sent to another appropriate organ requiring it.

Certificate of Good Standing is processed within three days, but at some times of the year we can become extremely busy and delays are possible. It is therefore advisable to allow as much time as possible for the CGS to be delivered. If we have your email address or contact numbers we will contact you to let you know when we have processed your CGS.

Certificate of Good Standing issued by the council is only valid for a period of six months from date of issue.
