The Complaints Committee will conduct a preliminary investigation into the complaint. Some of the options available to the Complaints Committee are specified under the law, they include :

• Advise that the complaint be dismissed ;
• Advise that the medical practitioner be issued with sanctions according to LAW Nº 44/2012 of 14/01/2013 ;
