King Faisal Hospital, Department of Medicine is organizing symposium on “Viral hepatitis symposium” this symposium will be conducted on 20th June, 2014 in Hotel des mille collines, Kigali. It is a regional with people coming from Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya, Sudan and possibly Tanzania. We are having a special guest speaker from Nairobi Hospital, Kenya.

At the completion of this 1 day symposium, the participants should be able to :
1. Advise and give counseling to patients about viral hepatitis testing
2. Interpret tests results
3. Liaise with a specialist to get management advice or need of referral of the patients
4. Follow-up patients on oral hepatis B therapy
5. Follow-up patients that completed hep C therapy.

This symposium is an accredited CPD activity ; full attendance will allow you to earn CPD credits.
