The Rwanda Medical and Dental Council will be hosting the 17th Annual Conference of the Association of Medical Councils of Africa [AMCOA] starting from Monday, 26th August 2013 till Friday, 30th August 2013 at the Kigali, Mille Collines Hotel

The primary purpose of Association of Medical Regulatory Authorities of Africa [AMCOA] is to support medical regulatory authorities in Africa in the protection of the public interest by promoting high standards of medical education, registration and regulation, and facilitating the ongoing exchange of information among medical regulatory authorities.

The theme for the conference is “Management of Medical Litigation” to be given by Hon. Johnson Busiinge, The Rwanda Minister of Justice. Related subthemes to be presented by partner state delegates.

The conference is expected to attract approximately 100 delegates from AMCOA’s 14 member’s countries as well as other African non-member countries.
