TB/HIV Co-infection
Rwanda Medical and Dental Council has approved a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program to improve, renew, and update the skills and ability of all doctors and to ensure that appropriate, high-quality health services are being provided to patients.
With this audience National University of Rwanda School of Public Health (NURSPH) is organizing training on “TB/HIV Co-infection ” the training will be conducted from 22nd July 2013 to 26th July 2013 at NURSPH.
At the end of the training course participants were aimed to :
1. Specify the major strategies for reducing the burden of TB in people living with HIV
2. Describe the major strategies for reducing the burden of HIV on patients with TB
3. Identify programmatic needs in the management of TB/HIV co-infection in their own national programs
4. Manage priorities areas for integration of TB/HIV services in their own national programs
5. Develop a strategic plan for integration of TB/HIV services in their own national programs based on Rwanda experience
The training is an accredited CPD activity ; full attendance will allow you to earn Seven (7) CPD credits.
