Mood disorders, Diagnosis, Management and long term outcomes

Rwanda Medical and Dental Council has approved a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program to improve, renew, and update the skills and ability of all doctors and to ensure that appropriate, high-quality health services are being provided to patients.
With this audience Rwanda Psychiatric Society (RPS) is organizing training on “Mood disorders, Diagnosis, Management and long term outcomes” the training will be conducted on 4th July 2013 at Ndera Neuropsychiatric Hospital.

At the end of the training participants should be able to :

  • Detect and rate mood disorders
  • Assess and manages risks associated with acute presentations
  • Choose appropriate treatment regimens for patients and compile holistic path ways
  • Do effective psycho-education
  • Monitor progress and long term outcomes
  • Teach others.

    The training is an accredited CPD activity ; full attendance will allow you to earn three (3) CPD credits.
