Rwanda Medical and Dental Council has approved a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program to improve, renew, and update the skills and ability of all doctors and to ensure that appropriate, high-quality health services are being provided to patients.
With this audience Partners In Health / Inshuti Mu Buzima is organizing workshop on “Point-of-Care Ultrasound : Basic Course for Physicians” the workshop will be conducted from 25th May, 2013 to 4th June, 2013 at Rwinkwavu Training Center.

At the end of the programme students should be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of :

1.Point-of-care, clinician-performed bedside ultrasound
2.Safety, responsibility, physics of ultrasound
3.Understanding of the basic artefacts and image
optimization techniques in using the machine
4.Specific organ systems and disease processes including cardiac, thoracic, abdominal, ob-gyn, soft tissue, musculoskeletal, deep
venous thrombosis, volume status, trauma, and procedural guidance.
The workshop is an accredited CPD activity ; full attendance to the workshop will allow you to earn CPD credits.
